La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in Arkansas City

Sitting here for well over 30 minutes and haven’t even been asked for a drink order.... all the tables around me have been helped. I’m not impressed .

Food had a very bad taste. Will not go there again. Poor service also.

The best friendly manger in town, the whole foods are so delicious and hard worker staffs with nice smile. I test almost every dishes and all are perfectly prepared. If you want to stay at the bar really try it with fantastic Spanish songs you will alleviate your soul. Thank you for your kind and good customer services.

Great food and service. Outstanding

09/15/19. THEY "LOST" MY CREDIT CARD!! Ceiling was leaking onto my daughter. We informed the waiter. He said "Yeah, we know. Don't know why they haven't fixed it yet." When it was time to pay, waiter took my card. Then lost my card. They told me to call my bank tomorrow to have it cancelled. (This was on a Sunday.)

Pros: No trouble getting a seat. Large menu with lots of food and drink choices. Full bar. Nice atmosphere. Good, but tangy, strawberry margarita with different size options. Flour chips were decent and the queso dip was good. Decent prices.Cons: Could barely understand the waitress. Menu description of meals is not accurate and complete. Taco salad had a huge glob of guacamole on it (wasn't part of the menu description). Taco salad was way too greasy and I couldn't even eat it. Had to go look for someone to help us more than once. The salsa didn't taste good at all.

They have a vast menu, great wait staff, and many options that you can eat if you're Keto.

Excellent service for our group of 10, food was decent but not exceptional.

Our friends came in from out of town to celebrate my husband's Birthday. I suggested we go to La Fiesta the service was bad is to say the least. We ordered and waited 55 mins for our plates. They were cold and not serviced altogether because our waiter was busy serving another table inbetween servings ours. Crazy right! Well that's not all we had to stop our waiter to get refills. I guess you can say that because the service to a party in the back room was more important to La Fiesta. All I can say is the place was under staffed. That all the good service was being served in back. In the future I will remember that if it's busy they are probably under staffed people are waiting in side to leave. In all we spent 1hour and 45mins in the place for a cold meal and bad rude service.

Good service and good food

Hot delicious food, attentive Staff, and a warm cozy atmosphere, gives this place a flavor that can't be beat. We'll be back, over and over again!

First time there. Both my spouse and I enjoyed our meals, the service was good and we plan on going back.

One of the worst meals I have ever had. Chile releno was soggy, the sauce on the burrito and the enchilada were so bad I almost spit them out. You could not pay me to eat there again.

We had to wait 45 minutes for our food and then when we got it we got one plate had to wait another 20 minutes to get two more plates then the last plate came out which was hot more than the others my rice was called I said something to the owner and she acted as if I could not pay for my meal and that isn’t even in the issue the issue is that we had poor service and I will never go back there again. And all she was worried about was if we were not gonna get a discount on the beer I don’t need to worry about paying for the beer worry about your customer service. 02/06/2020 is the date we went. Order a meal with three tacos and got one chicken tacos

Got food from here and was throwing up a few hours later out of a dead sleep. Only thing I had ate was this place before bed. Also have a friend who got some nasty food from here and refuses to go back. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Also read down the reviews and see the one about the cockroach they cooked into a meal. Place is the worst save your time and health and go eat somewhere else.

It's still good but after the menu change it isn't like it was

Food is bland and simple. Nothing Spanish about it.

They seated us very quickly had chips and salsa on the table. We ordered our drinks and looked at the menu for just a bit. The waiter cane back for order and we had our food very quickly. Nice, qick and courteous service. The waiter did a great job, enjoyed the lunch.

Excellent food and customer service, just slow to take orders and getting food to tables when busy.

Excellent tasting food. Wish I could have given 5 stars. However our appetizer and main meal arrived within a minute of each other and we had to ask for plates for the appetizer.

The food was amazing and our waitress was attentive and very fast! I will continue to go back!

My favorite place to go everytime I go to ark city

Was there for over an hour and a half and still never received our food. Two tables that came in after us got theirs. Asked two different people and just got yeah it’s coming as an answer. Finally told them we had to leave we had somewhere to be. Very dissatisfied

Food was great, but service was slow for no more busy than they were.

The food is tasty, the staff seem clueless about it though as well as the prices. And if they are the correct prices, they are outrageous!

I like this place. Clean and friendly environment. The spices just don't do much for me, it's very plain. Overall, I prefer other places but it's worth a try.

It was a nice quiet lunch with a co-worker. Food was good. We did have to wait a bit to cash out. Otherwise quick and friendly service.

The best carnitas ever!

When someone asks for extra container to put grease in it needs to be provided

While eating here on 3/6/17 our son found a cooked cockroach in his enchiladas. When we brought it to the waiter's attention he brought the manager which said he'd give us a "big discount" because he had no excuse. The big discount was for the cost of the meal and 2 kids meals that weren't finished because of discovery. Once I posted on FB about it I received messages from owner accusing us of planting the bug to hurt her little business.

Food is fresh and hot Everytime I go there

There were Mexican flavors for everyone. They also offer a couple of non-Mexican dishes (macaroni and cheese and chicken and rice) for kids. The service was fairly fast (it was a busy night) and there wasn't much wait time for dinner.

Well my husband & I went in and ordered what we wanted I ordered a shrimp quesadilla my husband reminded me to make sure to tell the waiter no cheese as I am lactose intolerant. So waiter heard him & I say no cheese but yet when he brought it out it had cheese melted after I took a bite we had to wait on waiter to come back to table and tell him it had cheese in it. He took it back to kitchen had them remake it yet even though he paid no attention to me that I couldn't have cheese they are the 1st place that charged us for that meal when it was his mistake. So I am not pleased with them at all.

LaFiesta has been around for a while. We have been here many times and got exactly what we ordered and within a decent time frame. 15-20 Minutes. The staff is friendly and attentive twards refilling of beverages. Over all a good experience.

I just left this restaurant, I am not happy with my experience. I tried to order an alcoholic beverage and was asked for my I.D. (not a problem) however, the manager was then called over to "double check" and when he realized I was of legal age he continued to have an attitude. I did not receive my drink until well after my food and the staff members were lingering around my table for my entire stay. Overall, left me feeling very uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Thi is the worst service I have ever experienced! They are rude . Do not care if your a happy costumer. Save yourself a bad day and just dont go there!

Just not done the way I prefer my Mexican food

We stopped tonight during happy hour, so my husband ordered a beer. We had double fajitas. Each of us received 3 small tortillas with the fajitas. After eating them we asked for another pack of 3 to continue eating our meal. When the bill came we realized we had been charged a $1.75 for the other 3 small tortillas in order to eat our fajitas. We were charged full price for the beer. When we questioned this because it was happy hour the waitress just said the beer is full price no happy hour. We asked why, she said only some counts for happy hour. The sign says happy hour. It doesn’t say only some drinks apply. Very frustrating. I have never been charged extra for tortillas to eat my fajitas. We will never go back, however the food was good. But this restaurant will never get my money again.

Menu has Huge selection. Guacamole was great. 1 of THE BEST Salsas in Cowley County. The California Burrito was enormous. Great value for the price. 1 of the only places you can order a frozen fruity drink.

My husband and I are there 6\18\19. Everything was great as usual until we went to pay. My husband paid with 2 twenty on a $26.04 bill the waiter hurriedly laid down 4 ones and quickly left going into the back. We sat waiting for him to return so we could bring the error to his attention. He never did. After 20 min we went to the cash register again no one. This was at 4:30 there was 3 other families in there. I hope he enjoyed the $10 tip he gave himself. We won't be back. Sad too we had been customers since the first day!!

After the remodel and changing owners years ago this place has improved %100 I would go as far as saying it the BEST Hispanic/Mexican food in town! EXCELLENT SERVICE EXCELLENT FOOD!

Very large dining room, we rarely have to wait to be seated. We love the food, and we enjoy talking to several of the familiar servers. I would give 5 stars, but I have learned I have to very carefully check my to-go orders as they have frequently been wrong.
